The mission of Lakeview Museum is to collect, study and interpret Art, History, Science and Achievement in order to inspire lifelong learning for the people of Central Illinois and our visitors.

The largest private downstate museum features art & science exhibitions, children’s Discovery Center, Planetarium, Illinois Folk Art Gallery, Illinois River Decoy and Illinois Jacquard Coverlet exhibitions, the Museum Store, and more.

Tues, Thurs, Fri, and Sat. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m,
Wed open from 10am - 8pm,
Sun 12p.m. - 5 p.m.
Members Free, Adults $5, Seniors and Students from ages 4-17 are $3.
